Modco Media  - Senior Account Supervisor

We are looking for a superstar communicator, task juggler and team wrangler who loves media.    We’re a media strategy, planning and buying agency with national fashion and entertainment accounts with whom you’ll love to be associated – no dry pharma or B2B. You’ll work with a vibrant team eager to learn and clink a glass during our happy hours.

 This client-facing role is the primary leader for communications to and from the client, and you will be responsible for coordinating with the media team to deliver media plans and strategy that are on brand, within budget and exceed performance expectations. 

 You also need to know and love client’s business, and live and breath everything about the fashion and retail category.  Essentially you are the glue that holds it all together.  If leading the charge, problem solving and caring for clients is your strong suit this is the job for you.

  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Organize and lead client calls and meetings as point person to set agenda and present work and reports
  • Draft and distribute status reports and meeting/conference call recaps between Client and Agency
  • Organize and lead external and internal briefing sessions to ensure all team members are clear on client objectives, roles, and deliverables
  • Work closely with the Media team and Director of Account Services to create strategic presentations and reporting, and contribute thoughtful insights based on client goals
  • Meet all Client and Agency deadlines and deliverables including but not limited to POs, contracts, creative materials, etc. as well as staying within individual budgets campaign parameters
  • Collaborate with and act as a liaison between creative and media teams
  • Assist with research processes and collaborate on competitive media landscapes, sales analyses and industry updates
  • Work within the suite of digital Planning and traditional media planning tools to pull research requests for current and prospective clients
  • Manage media plan deliveries, billing and invoices
  • Assist in data gathering of industry trends and emerging media
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date knowledge of media trends as well as client’s business

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Candidate must have:

  • Bachelor degree from a four-year college
  • Minimum 5 years’ Media experience and/or Account management in a media agency
  • Experience managing digital media focused accounts and campaigns
  • A background in managing fashion or retail client(s)

 

 DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Able to meet strict deadlines and juggle multiple projects across multiple clients
  • Detail oriented and high organized
  • Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and client relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
  • Direct experience with and working knowledge of media planning/buying
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, InDesign a plus
  • Knowledge of Media Research Tools (Comscore, Kantar, Nielsen, MRI)
  • Exposure to traditional media platforms (TV, Print, Out of Home, and Radio)
