PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES

The Beiersdorf Marketing team is seeking a Media Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our Integrated Media team. As a Media Manager at Beiersdorf, you will strategize and execute media supporting all of our brands and campaigns. The right person for this role will be have experience in consumer products and integrated media, media planning and agency management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of Media campaigns including monitoring and assessing performance, assisting in strategic analysis of campaign performance, testing targets, and producing creative, copy, media types, etc. across all channels (broadcast, print, digital, programmatic, search, content etc.).

  • Provide recommendations to improve strategies, tactics, visibility, and increase consumer conversions.

  • Partner with the Integrated Media team as well as Brand and Agencies to develop and optimize strategies to drive brand growth.

  • Stay up-to-date with media trends, potential new channels and strategies.

  • Provide thought (data-driven) leadership developing actionable insights from analytics.

  • Think strategically and increase effectiveness at achieving overall brand strategies.

  • Assist Director, Integrated Media in the development of communication strategy.


Agency Management:

  • Manage media agency to optimize for performance analysis against campaign goals.

  • Manage integrated agency teams in developing the strategic and tactical plans and daily media agency management and operations.

  • Leverage learnings, including Marketing Mix Model to optimize media.

  • Use efficient and holistic media planning competencies.

  • Leading the development of integrated marketing strategies, gaining alignment with all stakeholders.

  • Lead contract development and management as well as Annual Competitive Review, and annual planning process.

  • Create master timelines and calendars and build and maintain database for all media materials

  • Own annual media audit and develop recommendations for optimization during the year.

  • Content & Integrations accountability:  project timeline, concept development, briefs, contracts, routing.

Reporting & Budget:

Manage all media reporting and budgets on daily, weekly, monthly, annual basis and lead agencies and internal finance partners to ensure performance standards are met.  This includes managing quarterly flowcharts, auditing, tracking and reporting.


REQUIRMENTS

  • BS/BA and Marketing (MBA strongly preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years media management experience in a consumer products or retail industry or equivalent experience in media planning for an agency and or client (Experience within one of the following industries: CPG, Retail, Consumer is desired).

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record of having executed successful Marketing campaigns.

  • BS/BA required. MBA in Marketing or related field highly desirable.

  • Strong business analytics skills, understanding of accounting and finance (P&L, Balance Sheet construction).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Deep media knowledge and experience in latest trends and driving impact, innovation and business results.

  • Flexibility for occasional travel for meetings, events on weekdays, weekends and evenings.
