  • Wendy's
    Various agencies
    Wendy's moved its $400 million advertising account from McCann Erickson to Saatchi & Saatchi and Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners without a review. In addition, media duties also changed hands, moving from Universal McCann to MediaVest without a review.
  • Circuit City
    Euro RSCG
    Circuit City named the Chicago office of Euro RSCG Worldwide as agency of record, charged with handling strategic and creative assignments. Euro RSCG launched firedog, a branded service for personal computers, home theater installations and integration of home electronics in September 2006, an assignment that played a role in the agency's win. The majority of Circuit City's ad account was transitioned in-house last year from W.B. Doner. Media buying will continue to be handled in-house.
  • Sure and Pert Plus
    Ten United
    Ten United has been named agency of record for Innovative Brands' Sure and Pert Plus brands. The agency will create advertising, promotional, interactive and grassroots/buzz marketing materials. The accounts are estimated at $25 million.
  • New York Academy of Sciences
    VIA Group
    The VIA Group was selected by the New York Academy of Sciences as its agency of record, following a review. The account will be serviced out of VIA's Portland and New York City offices.
  • La Quinta
    Mullen
    La Quinta Inns selected Mullen and its media marketing division, mediaHUB as marketing communications agency of record following a review conducted by Mitchell & McCue, Dallas. The campaign includes brand development, print, online, radio and TV advertising and media planning and buying. The account will be managed through Mullen's Winston-Salem, NC office and is valued at $10 million.
  • HB Nitkin Group
    VogtGoldstein
    The HB Nitkin Group, a real estate investment company, named VogtGoldstein as its first agency of record. The account was awarded without a review and billings were not disclosed.
  • The Honda Ski Tour
    Wirestone
    Wirestone was named the first agency of record to handle The Honda Ski Tour, a professional and music festival for skiers. The account was won without a review and billings were not disclosed. Wirestone will create online and offline marketing support for The Honda Ski Tour Web site and branding efforts, which will include both print and broadcast.
  • Fathead
    Maiden Lane
    Maiden Lane has been named agency of record for Fathead, a marketer of sports and entertainment wall graphics. Spending was not released.
  • Baskin-Robbins
    Cliff Freeman and Partners
    Cliff Freeman and Partners was named lead creative agency on Baskin-Robbins' estimated $10 million ad account, following a two month review. VitroRobertson previously handled the account.
  • Nokia
    In Review
    Nokia placed its global advertising account in review.
  • Toys R Us
    In Review
    Toys R Us has placed its advertising account in review. Young & Rubicam previously handled the work and will not participate in the review.
  • Sprint
    In Review
    Incumbent TBWA/Chiat/Day has withdrawn from Sprint's creative review. The agency handled Sprint's B2C creative.
