  • Strayer University
    Erwin Penland
    Erwin Penland was named marketing and advertising agency of record for Strayer University. Work, expected to launch next month, will include brand, strategy, creative, content and social media elements.

  • KFC
    Mediavest | Spark
    Following a review that began in September, KFC tapped Mediavest | Spark to handle media planning and buying for its general-market business in the United States. Work will include advertising, media planning and buying across all channels, including digital and social media.

    Wieden + Kennedy remains as the KFC's creative agency and Edelman continues as the brand's public relations agency.

    "For KFC to continue to gain traction in a rapidly evolving marketplace, we are focused on using cross-channel media touchpoints in new and unique ways to drive sales and build the KFC brand," said Shindy Hodack, senior director of media and innovation for KFC U.S. "We look forward to utilizing Mediavest | Spark's strategic approach, longstanding experience, digital capabilities and enthusiastic team to maximize our media investments."

    KFC spent $231 million on measured media in 2015 and $167.3 million the first nine months of 2016, according to Kantar Media.

    Laundry Service
    Laundry Service was named social media agency of record for BMW of North America. KBS previously handled the account and will continue as BMW's lead creative agency.

    Overall, BMW spent $141 million on measured media in 2015 and $154.4 million the first nine months of 2016, per Kantar Media.

  • Fields Auto Group
    RPM Advertising
    RPM Advertising was named agency of record for Fields Auto Group, home of The Premier Luxury Auto Group in Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida and North Carolina.

    Currently, Fields Auto Group represents 41 dealerships in four states: Chicago, Illinois; Orlando and Jacksonville Florida; Madison and Waukesha Wisconsin and Asheville, North Carolina. Each dealership sells new and used luxury vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Land Rover, Range Rover, Rolls-Royce Motorcars, Bentley, Lamborghini, Jaguar and Porsche, to name a few.

    Serendipit Consulting
    Serendipit Consulting added three clients to its roster.

    Twenty Four Seven Hotels, a company that specializes in hospitality management in the western region of the U.S., hired Serendipit to manage its social media.

    Intelligent Technical Solutions, an IT support firm for small- and medium-sized businesses, tapped the agency to handle public relations.

    Campus Living Villages, a provider of higher education student housing, hired Serendipit for marketing and reputation management.
