Since there has been much talk of new messaging channels "killing" email during the past decade, I thought it would be appropriate to consider for a moment just how critical email is to each of us and the brands we interact with over the holiday season. Enjoy!

Four (hundred), Twitter notices (No, I do not get that many new followers in a day!)

On the fifth day of (insert appropriate holiday here, again)

My email sent to me
Five photos of friends (including some great shots from MediaPost's Email Insider Summit)

Four (hundred), Twitter notices,

On the sixth day of (insert appropriate holiday here, again)
