When Google announced that it would start considering a Web site's speed as one signal to rank pages in search results the Google Webmaster Central blog pointed to several tools that a webmaster could
use to see how quick their sites loads. Bill Slawski tells us about two tools, Firefox add-ons, that work with Firebug. He runs down a list of the Fortune 100 companies in 2009, providing page speed
scores and YSlow Scores to provide an idea of how quick or slow your site might be compared to theirs.
