Dish Ad-Skipping Case Will Be in Los Angeles
Chicago Tribune, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 3:30 PM
A New York judge has rejected Dish Network’s bid to have their ad-skipping case held in New York, instead sending the case back to Los Angeles.
Dish Network was pushing for the case to be heard in New York because of a legal precedent in the state that would have increased their chances of winning. The networks – CBS, Fox, NBC, and ABC - get their wish as the case moves back to Los Angeles.
