Google Licenses Rovi Patents For TV

Rovi has entered into a license agreement with Google that supports Fiber Pay-TV service in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. Google will license the company's patent portfolio under a multi-year agreement. Google claims its new high-speed Internet and TV service will deliver speeds roughly 100 times faster than most U.S. homes receive on standard broadband.
