Netflix 1 Million Strong In UK, Ireland

In a statement, the online video service said it hit the one million subscriber mark in the UK and Ireland quicker than it took Twitter to reach one million global users. Netfix launched in the UK and Ireland at the start of the year, offering an unlimited film service for £5.99. The company plans to launch in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland by the end of 2012.
