Microsoft Reaffirms Hardware Ambitions

Reiterating earlier comments, Steve Ballmer this week said Microsoft has big plans for its hardware business. “It is absolutely clear that there is an innovation opportunity on the scene
between hardware and software and that is a scene that must not go unexploited at all by Microsoft," the company’s CEO said at an event on Wednesday, as reported by Reuters. Microsoft, of
course, just debuted its Surface tablet.
