Despite reports from Google that its mission isn't to help consumers cut the cord on traditional TV services, many of them will connect directly to the Internet to get away from high service costs. The NPD group reports from 2013 CES that Panasonic and Samsung will introduce "notable" improvements to their connected TV interfaces, including on-demand programming and voice interaction.
