Yahoo head Marissa Mayer has tapped Laurence “Laurie” Mann to head up the company’s search efforts, sources tells AllThingsD. A longtime Yahoo employee, Mann most recently served
as SVP of engineering operations. As AllThingsD reports, Mann has his work cut out for him considering Yahoo’s troubled search partnership with Microsoft.
