SEO: Matt Cutts Warns Against Unnatural Links

Matt Cutts posted a blog Friday warning that selling links that pass PageRank violates the company's quality guidelines, calling advertorial pages on Web sites that pass PageRank a no-no. The consequences for a link-selling site begin with losing trust in Google's search results, as well as reduction of the site's visible PageRank in the Google Toolbar, and lower rankings for that site in Google's search results.
