Last year, Android accounted for 79% of all malware -- up from 66.7% in 2011 and just 11.25% in 2010, according to new data from F-Secure. Apple’s iOS, by contrast, was responsible for a mere
0.7% of malware on its platform. So, “Is it because Android is the most popular smartphone platform in the world right now, or is it because it’s just fundamentally easier to
attack?” TechCrunch asks.
