Apple Tries To Clear Its Name

Trying to make good with consumers in the wake of reports that technology companies cooperated with government surveillance efforts, Apple is trying to prove that it never gave the NSA free access to its servers. “Apple said the requests came from federal, state and local authorities regarding both national security matters and criminal investigations,” The New York Times reports.
