British Airways Flyer Complains Via Promoted Tweet

A disgruntled British Airways customer has bought a “promoted tweet” to share his frustrations with the airline. Hasan Syed wanted to ensure that his complaint against British Airways was seen by as many people as possible, so he paid to ensure it appeared at the top of thousands of people’s Twitter feeds. The tweet read: “Don’t fly @BritishAirways. Their customer service is horrendous.”
