Google Chromebooks Built With Intel Inside

Google and Intel have formed a partnership. Announced at Intel's developer forum, the company will supply Google with chips embedded in Chromebooks. The Intel chips -- code name Haswell -- are the latest version of its Core line of microprocessors. Chromebooks now represent more than 25% of sales of laptops priced at less than $300, according to Don Clark, who cites Google SVP Sundar Pichai. Chromebook supports a search engine and apps, but no hard drive. All docs are saved to the cloud.
