Independent agency, Olson has named Mitchell Caplan as its chief marketing officer. Most recently, he was a partner and managing director of New York-based interactive agency Digital Pulp. Caplan will
split time between Olson’s offices in Minneapolis and New York, and report directly to John Partilla, chief executive officer. Prior to that, Caplan served as chief marketing officer at McCann
and Y&R, and managing director for business development and integration at Kaplan Thaler Group. At Olson, Caplan succeeds Bob Molhoek, who was promoted to the newly created role of senior vice
president for organic client growth.
