Edward Snowden, the N.S.A. whistleblower, spoke via live video with
The New Yorker staff writer Jane Mayer. The New York Film Festival during the weekend debuted a new movie, "Citizen Four,"
about Snowden scheduled for theatrical release latter this month. The movie has real-time footage of Snowden in the Hong Kong hotel room where he was held up for days talking to reporters about the
events that would eventually be made public before his escape to Moscow. The video includes portions of the new film.
