Tinder this week debuted its first paid product, Plus, which charges different monthly rates to users based on their regional location and age. “For example, users in some developing countries
pay about $2.99 a month while people 30 and older in the United States are charged $19.99 a month,” the Los Angeles Times notes. Tinder Plus also lets users “rewind” if they
mis-swipe, along with a “passport” to search for people outside of their respective regions.
