Net Neutrality Rules Could Affect FTC's Power To Police Privacy

Some Federal Trade Commission officials are concerned that they will lose the power to police privacy violations by Internet service providers, thanks to the Federal Communications Commission's new net neutrality rules. But some net neutrality advocates like New America Foundation's Open Technology Institute, say the FCC is better positioned to subject broadband providers to stringent privacy requirements.
