TechCrunch notes that a new startup based in New Zealand, called Hail, is aiming to simplify the process of publishing to multiple platforms. Hail’s system allows users to publish content for mobile channels, which can then be easily repurposed for other channels including email, social networks, and blogging platforms, among others. Hail automatically formats text, photos, and videos but doesn’t use set templates, allowing publishers more flexibility and consistency across different channels. It’s compatible with platforms including WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger, and MailChimp, along of course with Facebook and Twitter.
