Sanders To Speak At The Vatican

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has accepted an invitation to speak at a conference hosted by the Vatican on social, economic and environmental issues. He will leave shortly after the New York debate on April 14. As a fan of Pope Francis’ work as leader of the Church, Sanders said: “I am grateful to the Vatican for inviting me to talk about an issue that is very dear to my heart, which is how we can create a moral economy that works for all of the people, rather than just the top 1%.”
