Trump Denies Report That He Offered Kasich VP Spot

Donald Trump has categorically denied that his campaign offered Ohio Gov. John Kasich the position of vice president on the Republican ticket. The New York Times reported on Wednesday that Donald Trump Jr. had been in contact with the Kasich team, offering to make the governor “the most powerful vice president in history.” He added that Trump assured Kasich would be in charge of both domestic and foreign policy.
