Ad-Blocking Browser Raises $4.5 Million

Brave, a browser that automatically blocks some ads, has raised $4.5 million from investors including Founders Fund (run by Peter Thiel), Propel Venture Partners, Pantera Capital, Foundation Capital and Digital Currency Group. Brave plans to replace the ads it blocks with different ads; the company says it will share ad revenue with publishers and users.
