When news broke that DNC servers had be maliciously interfered with, cyber analysts checked to see if other political networks had similar occurrences. What one analyst found was that “a bank in Moscow … kept irregularly pinging a server registered to the Trump Organization on Fifth Avenue.” Eventually, what became clear to a group of cyber experts, is that there was a sustained relationship between the Trump Organization server and two servers tied to an entity called Alfa Bank, with strong ties to Russia.
