Microsoft has officially completed its $26 billion acquisition of LinkedIn, the software giant said
Thursday.
“But,” as
Fortune writes, “after getting all the required regulatory approvals and money transfers squared away [Microsoft CEO Satya] Nadella’s real work is just
beginning: ensuring that buying LinkedIn was worth $26 billion to Microsoft shareholders.” Prior to Nedella’s reign, Microsoft has had a “pretty mixed record on large
acquisitions.”
