Doorfront Direct Expands Delivery Network Into Five Midwestern Cities

Doorfront Direct, a magazine and catalog delivery network, has expanded into several midwest markets, working with newspaper publisher Lee Enterprises.

“We’ve added five new markets in the Midwest during the past few weeks,” says Randall Brant, executive director for Doorfront Direct. “We’re very excited about Madison, Wisconsin; Munster, Indiana; Omaha, St. Louis and the Quad Cities."

The delivery affiliates in these areas are properties of Lee, which already delivered Doorfront Direct in such markets as Richmond, Virginia; Roanoke, Virginia; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Doorfront Direct’s affiliates have delivered more than 50 million publications since launch in 2017.

“Our launch with Doorfront Direct went smoothly at all levels,” says Greg Parker, regional director of audience and operations for St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He added, “From defining our delivery areas to the actual in-home delivery, everything went as planned.”

“Delivering magazines through Doorfront Direct infuses revenue into our delivery operations, and carriers see a direct increase in their route income,” says Tim Ohnoutka, director of audience development for Omaha World Herald.
