Theodore F. Olt III has been named by the Lee Enterprises board of directors to succeed C. Dana Waterman III as secretary and general counsel. 

Waterman is retiring after 34 years in the slot.  

“I look forward to working closely with Ted as he follows in Dana’s footsteps,” says Kevin Mowbray, president and chief executive officer of Lee. “Dana has set exceedingly high marks, and we’re certain Ted will set new high marks of his own.” 

Olt began working at the Lane & Waterman LLP law firm in 1995. His practice specializes in corporate law and governance.
