Dotdash Meredith’s Real Simple magazine is collaborating with Pinterest to launch a shoppable issue.
Real Simple will highlight a "Best & Brightest" theme featuring over 120 game-changing products that have been tested by the magazine’s editors.
In the new arrangement, each section of the magazine will feature QR codes that link to corresponding Pinterest boards. Consumers can immediately buy the products.
"We've collaborated closely with Real Simple in the past year as a trusted resource for Pinterest's half a billion users who are actively seeking inspiring content each month, often driving purchases," says Malik Ducard, chief content officer at Pinterest.
Malik adds, "We could think of no better issue than 'Best and Brightest' to offer a new and elevated shopping experience that makes it easy to buy exactly what you see in Real Simple’s pages directly on Pinterest."
The new "Best & Brightest" debuts today on RealSimple.com and on Pinterest's exclusive shoppable board. It will also be seen in Real Simple’s June issue, which hits newsstands on May 17.
