The Web sites will host CBS programming, in addition to providing local news, sports and weather to the CBS Interactive
Audience Network, effectively recreating the TV programming experience on the Web. CBS claims that its audience network reaches 90 percent of Web users; the company said that "most" of its new local
partners would be ready for the network's fall season, to boost everyone's efforts for online advertising.
The revenue breakdown was not disclosed, although CBS is believed to take 90 percent of revenue, while giving the remaining 10 percent to publishers in its network. AOL, MSN, CNET Networks, Comcast, Joost and Veoh are CBS' audience network partners.
