I might be a creature of habit. As much as I claim to like change, I don’t really like it. My life is constantly changing. So, I like a few things to stay the same. At my internship, we don’t really have a lot to do since the summer is wrapping up. This means, I have a lot of time to be online. When I say “online”, I mean Facebook. Facebook has decided to change its format. I’m going to be honest, I don’t like it. Do I not like it because it is new, or because I just don’t like the new format? I’m not alone in this. Sitting in the office, my co-workers have tried the new Facebook only to immediately switch back to the old version.

When Facebook came up with the Newsfeed, people were not happy. Everyone complained. They didn’t like the change. However, Facebook told us that we would like it. Now, people love the Newsfeed. I suppose that people, including myself, will just have to learn to love the new Facebook because I doubt Facebook is going to change.

Am I against change or am I a lemming willing to accept whatever Facebook tells me?
