    Headliners this week:

    MICHAEL BLAUNER has been named Sales Manager with Christal Radio in New York. Blauner joined the Katz Media Group as an Account Executive with the same office. Also at Christal Radio, STEVE SARANTOS has been named VP, Director of Sales of the San Francisco office. He was promoted from the position of Sales Manager.

    NUALA O'CONNOR has been named VP of Data Protection and Chief Privacy Officer for Email and Emerging Technologies at DoubleClick, Inc. O'Connor joined the company in February 2000 as the company's Deputy General Counsel for Privacy. DoubleClick also named ELISE BERKOWER, former Director of Adjudication at the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, as Privacy Compliance Officer. The company also hired TOM KORDICH as Director of Privacy Technology. AMANDA CHANDLER, formerly the Compliance Manager for the Police and Criminal Justice Sector of the Data Protection Commissioner in the United Kingdom, was named Chief Privacy Officer and Director of Data Protection for DoubleClick in Europe.

    LEE RICHARDSON has joined the company as VP of Worldwide Sales for Avesair, Inc., the provider of engine technology that enables mobile marketing. Richardson joins Avesair after serving as VP, Asia/Pacific and Latin America at SAS Institute Inc.

    EDUARDO ARROCHA has joined Grey Worldwide Argentina ad agency as its new President/CEO. Arrocha was with McCann Erickson where, most recently, he served as Sr. VP of Latin America and President of McCann Erickson Argentina. He replaces DANIEL MELERO who resigned in November 2000.

    AMY SCHOENING has been named to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer for The Gap. She previously served as Executive VP of Marketing for the company's Banana Republic brand.

    STEVE HAYDEN has been named Vice Chairman for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. Prior to his new appointment, Hayden had been president of brand services on the IBM account, overseeing the signature account.

    MICHAEL BLAAUBOER, SCOTT CONSELYEA and CHAD WIEBESICK have new positions at B2Bworks. Blaauboer has been named Western Regional Sales Manager, San Francisco. He most recently served as Sales Account Executive for Talk City, Inc. Conselyea has been named Eastern Regional Sales Manager, New York. He joins the company from Advanstar Communications where he served as Account Executive. Wiebesick has been named Account Executive, Chicago. Before his appointment he served as Media Coordinator for interactive ad agency, Beyond Interactive.

    SOLOMON ORTASSE has joined Telmar's Los Angeles office as VP, Regional Sales Manager, West and Midwest. He joins Telmar from Abacus Direct where he served as Director, Media & Communications.

    DAVID PASTORE has been named Sales Development Manager in the New York office of USA Weekend magazine. Pastore will be responsible for developing national advertising accounts in the financial and telecommunications sector. He most recently served as an Account Executive with USA Today.

    JUDY GLASSMAN is the new executive director of marketing and creative services at Premiere magazine. She previously worked as creative services director at GQ magazine.

    DANIEL E. SCULLY JR. has been promoted from Associate Publisher to Publisher of Boston magazine. Also at Boston, PAUL REULBACH has been promoted from Associate Publisher/Advertising Director to Associate Publisher and Publisher of Boston Magazine Publications, an ancillary division that includes Elegant Wedding, New England Travel and Life, and Boston Magazine's Concierge.

    ROBERT A. LEE has been named Publisher of Gear magazine. Lee joins the magazine from Disney's Discover, most recently as Associate Publisher.

    JENNIFER FLEISCHER has been promoted from Sales Rep to VP of Advertising Sales at HotJobs.com.

    ELLEN BERGER has been named VP Strategic Planning for Orange Marketing. She joins the company from Price Waterhouse Coopers' Strategic Change Division.

    DANIEL SANDERS and MICHELLE DAVIS SANDERS have joined Interep as Regional Marketing Directors. Daniel Sanders joins Interep from KMCI Television where he served as Sr. Account Ecxecutive. Michells Davis Sanders joins the comaany from KSMO Television where she served as Account Executive.

    REGINA BRADY, MARK DUBOWITZ, CAREY CATALA and JOHN WRIGHT have new positions at FloNetwork Inc. Brady has been named to the Board of Directors of Responsible Electronic Communications Alliance. The company also appointed Dubowitz as the General Manager, European Operations and Director of International Development. Catala has been promoted to VP, U.S. Direct Sales. Wright has been promoted to VP, U.S. Channel Sales.
