  • Wink Communications, Inc. announced the addition of three industry veterans to its Eastern Region and National sales and distribution teams. PETER KRANZLER has been appointed Vice President of Eastern Ad Sales, JOHN GEE is now Vice President of Sales and Strategic Account Management and GREG REGIS assumes the role of Vice President of Programming Sales & Account Management. Kranzler brings more than 25 years of sales and management experience to Wink, Gee brings broad experience to Wink with nearly two decades of sales management experience in broadcast television, syndication and new media advertising sales, and Regis joins Wink with a wealth of successful sales and management experience with NBCi, ESPN/ABC, and Grey Advertising.

    PAUL MILLER has been named Account Director of Blue Diesel, an interactive agency in Columbus, OH. Miller comes from Standard Register in Dayton, OH and spent five years with Ernst & Young in consulting and management roles. Blue Diesel has also hired NICOLE MAURUS as an Account Executive. Maurus comes to Blue Diesel from Sapient, in Chicago.

    Boston Media Corporation announced that CHRISTOPHER FLEMING, has been named Marketing Manager for Shoxygen Sports Marketing. Previously, Fleming worked as a media planner for Carat Freeman of Carat Worldwide. JESSICA BENOIT, has been named Conference Manager of iGamingWorld 2002, Boston Media's online gaming event. Prior to joining Boston Media, Benoit worked as Corporate Events Manager for ArsDigita Corporation.

    ARTIE ALTMAN has been named Executive Vice President of Millennium Sales & Marketing's newly created Sinclair Division. He joins Millennium Sales & Marketing from WPIX in New York.

    LANCE WILLIAMS has been appointed Sales Manager of the Silver Team for Continental Television Sales (CTS) in Chicago. Prior to joining Continental, Mr. Williams worked in radio sales in Lafayette, LA.

    GAIL DAY has been named publisher of Forbes FYI, and will oversee all aspects of advertising sales and marketing. She had been senior vice president and publisher of Playboy magazine.

    DANIEL LOVINGER has been named senior vice president of integrated sales of Primedia's Business-to-Business Group. He was last at Phase2Media, where he was the executive vice president of sales and operations.

    CHRISTINE OLDENBROOK has been named vice president of audience marketing for Primedia business magazines & media. She had been at 101communications LLC, where she held the same position.

    OREN LIEBER has been promoted from manager of network development to director of national accounts at the affiliates sales and marketing division of Fox Cable Networks Group. CARLOS GUTIERREZ has been upped to manager of the West region in the affiliate sales and marketing department. He had been an assistant for Fox/Liberty Networks. He became coordinator of national accounts five months later. TRACY SCHWARTZ has been named account executive of the West region after serving as coordinator there. Also at the affiliate sales and marketing department at Fox Cable Networks Group, MICHAEL BIARD has been promoted from director of business affairs to vice president of business affairs. SOL DOTEN moves up to vice president of affiliate marketing in the sports division of the Fox Cable Networks Group after serving as that division's director of affiliate marketing. DAVID NATHANSON has been promoted to vice president of broadband strategy and channel development. He will also continue on as general manager of Fox Sports Digital Nets.

    STEVEN BROOKSTEIN has been named senior vice president of sales, marketing, and corporate communications for Diva. He had been senior vice president and general manager for Excite@Home.
