  • JOHN MUSZYNSKI has been named chief executive officer of Starcom USA.RENETTA MCCANN most recently held the position. Muszynski started with the company in 1981, in 1999 he was named chief broadcast investment officer, and in April 2004, he was appointed Starcom’s managing director, investment and operations.

  • Eyeblaster has named ERWIN CASTELLANOS director of business development. He will focus on sales initiatives and relationships and identify strategic opportunities with publisher clients. Prior to joining Eyeblaster, Castellanos was the Northeast account director at Advertising.com.

  • Rapp Collins Worldwide has formed Rapp Collins Healthcare, a separate specialty agency brand devoted exclusively to health care clients. The unit will be run by CAROLINE CHILVERS, former Rapp Collins' executive vice president, who assumes the role of managing director, Rapp Collins Healthcare. Chilvers joined Rapp Collins in 2000 as senior vice president, account director.

  • Ziff Davis Media has promoted SARA DECARLO to vice president, consumer marketing and database management. Decarlo will be responsible for overseeing all circulation efforts for the company's nine publications including subscriber acquisition and retention efforts, single copy sales, list rentals, audience development, and managing its master database of reader information. She joined Ziff Davis in 2000 as director of consumer marketing, and was responsible for the audience development for two new publication launches, Baseline and CIO insight. She was also responsible for directing the circulation efforts for eWEEK.

  • Hoovers.com has hired DANIEL CLARK to lead the advertising sales efforts in the Western Region. Previously, Clark was senior regional manager, advertising & e-Commerce for Shopping.com.

  • WorldNow has hired ALLISON BODENMANN as executive vice president for national/network ad sales. Bodenmann, most recently vice president business development at Court TV, will be responsible for national advertising on 147 local media Web sites in the WorldNow Network. Prior to Court TV, she was president of The Syndicated Network Television Association.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi New York has named LYNNE COLLINS as vice president, director of communications. Collins was most recently associate director of corporate communications at Deutsch. Prior to that, she worked at Tribal DDB Worldwide.

  • Night Agency has added EVAN OREMLAND as a motion/Web designer. Oremland will oversee and design much of the company's current motion design projects.

  • JULI MARIE SAVAGE has joined ENC Marketing & Communications as marketing manager. Savage will handle several ENC client accounts including Booz Allen Hamilton, Computer Associates, and EDS. Most recently, she was the senior marketing coordinator at CTIA, the international association for the wireless telecommunications industry.

  • Blattner Brunner has named MELANIE GOTTSCHALK and EDYTA STADNIK as account executive and assistant account executive, respectively. Gottschalk is responsible for research, communication, and project management, including coordinating and budgeting account projects. Stadnik will work mainly on the Cub Cadet account.

  • The Chicago office of Draft has named CATHERINE ROGGOW vice president, account director. Roggow will work on various pharmaceutical accounts. She joins the agency from Virginia-based Glen Eagle Marketing where she was an account director for ConAgra Foods. While there, she supervised strategic positioning and development of integrated promotional brand plans including product launches, new brand introductions, and repositioning.

  • Scholastic has named EUNICE GREER as director of content for professional development. Dr. Greer will oversee all content development for Scholastic Red.

  • THOMAS M. FLYNN has been promoted to the position of national sales manager for Sales & Marketing Management, a unit of VNU Business Media. Flynn has spent more than two years at Sales & Marketing Management as the Eastern sales manager.

  • Creative Civilization has added MICHAEL DE LA GARZA to its management team. De La Garza will serve as director of client services, responsible for leading growth opportunities for the agency’s existing clients, as well as new business development.

  • Media company, Inspire Your World has named ERIC FEIL editor-in-chief of Inspire Your World magazine. Most recently, he consulted for TV Guide, as well as Dennis Publishing, Bauer Publishing, and Riot Media. He has also been an on-air contributor to ESPN2’s morning show, “Cold Pizza,” since its launch in 2003.
