  • Interpublic Emerging Media Lab appointed SCOTT WENSMAN as director of media strategy and content. Most recently, Wensman was media director for Tribal DDB, overseeing the media and search marketing efforts for Abbott Labs, Ameriquest, eHarmony, Epson and Wells Fargo.

  • JIM ORR was promoted to executive vice president, general sales manager, Domestic Theatrical Distribution, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. In his new position, Orr takes on responsibility for supervising distribution of all MGM's theatrical films in North America, including the studio's domestic sales planning and execution.


  • Upshot hired NICOLE BRESSANELLI as vice president, account management.


  • Draftfcb Seattle hired TERRY DOYLE as associate creative director. In addition, SUE BOIVIN was promoted to vice president, creative director; JOHN CHESEMORE was promoted to account director; and ERIN YOUNT was elevated to account executive.


  • KATHY DUHIG joined The Bounce Agency as director of media, responsible for strategic planning, media negotiations, and stewardship of all client media services. Prior to joining Bounce, Duhig served for eight years as vice president/associate media director for J. Walter Thompson Technology in Atlanta where she oversaw global media strategy for Texas Instruments and other technology brands.


  • MSG Media appointed FRANK MINISHAK to the newly created role of vice president of digital sales. Most recently he was AOL's regional sales director for the company's New York sales team.


  • DANIEL JAYE was promoted to president of TACODA. He succeeds CURT VIEBRANZ who was named executive vice president of AOL and president of AOL's new Platform A.


  • Universal McCann named ROB FRYDLEWICZ as senior vice president, director of media research. He joins the agency from RAF Consulting where clients included MRI, Project Apollo and the Council of Better Business Bureaus.


  • CKPR named JOHN MOSE as senior vice president and new director of its Milwaukee office. He joins the company from Weber Shandwick/Chicago, where he was the head of the Public Affairs and Issues Practice.


  • Big Fish named SUSAN WLADICH vice president of strategic marketing.


  • PAMELA MAPHIS LARRICK, chief digital, direct, & CRM officer for Draftfcb, will leave the agency in mid-October after having completed the successful integration of digital and CRM capabilities into Draftfcb's new agency model. She will continue to consult with The Interpublic Group.

  • 90octane promoted SEAN BRUNNER to project manager and JESSICA SHEPHERD to senior marketing coordinator.

  • ADAM BRANDER joined Gospel Music Channel as manager, eastern region advertising sales. Previously, Brander was an account executive at MTV Networks, responsible for selling CMT Network.


  • WONGDOODY in Seattle hired GREG TAMURA as associate director, media. He was previously media supervisor at DraftFCB in Seattle. The office also named STEVE KESSELMAN as senior associate, account planning; MARK SLOANE as associate, client partnerships; and BRIAN FLAHERTY as associate, account management. The Seattle office also recently hired several copywriters: JANELLE ERICKSON, STEVE MALLOCH and GEORGE MOLLAS. In the Los Angeles office, CRISTINA PRUSZ joined as associate director, account management, and BEN KLINGER joined as an associate, client partnerships.

  • ANDREW ETTINGER joined RJ Palmer as director of interactive media.


  • Arnold Worldwide in McLean, VA hired BILL CUTTER as associate creative director.

  • Universal McCann named ROBERT GLASSER as digital assistant media planner on U.S. Army.


  • Wunderman named KASS SELLS managing director, global client lead, team Microsoft, responsible for managing teams serving Microsoft in 30 countries, including the Seattle hub. Sells will focus on Microsoft's corporate business group as well as the business of its US subsidiary. Previously, Sells was COO of DraftFCB West.


  • DAVE CAMPBELL rejoined Microsoft as brand strategist aboard the MSN Branded Entertainment and Experiences team.

  • Jackson-Dawson Marketing Solutions hired JEFF BAKER as new media manager to head its New Media Department, BRIAN CALLOWAY as controller and JEFF MARTINEZ as a web developer.


  • Fuse named CAROL GOLL senior vice president of marketing. Most recently, Goll was general manager of brand experience marketing at Mercedes-Benz USA.


  • KIM HUEY STEINER joined About.com as strategic sales director, CPG, and MICHAEL FRICK joined as strategic sales director, health.


  • STEVE CALDER was promoted to chief media officer at Mullen.


  • Captivate Network hired LAURA KERBS as a director of business development in the San Francisco office and BARBARA GRAFF as a director of business development in the Los Angeles office.


  • TBWA/Chiat/Day named JON CASTLE as managing director of the Nissan/Infiniti account. Castle spent nearly 20 years at Arnold Worldwide in Boston, having overseen the Volkswagen North American account for 10 years.


  • Sheridan Broadcasting Corp. promoted SUSAN AUSTIN to senior vice president/chief financial officer and ADELE LAWHEAD to vice president and treasurer.
