  • CHRISTOPHER WAILES joined Erwin-Penland as associate director of public relations. Most recently, Wailes served as vice president and director of media relations and editorial services at The Bounce Agency.


  • Draftfcb formed 361 Experiential, the combination of 361 Sports and Event Marketing and Hall Event Group. DEE HALL, who most recently ran these units, was promoted to executive vice president, integration, at Draftfcb Chicago. BRAD BACK will now lead 361 Experiential as senior vice president, group management director.

  • AUDREY RAZGAITIS was named creative director of Guideposts publications. She most recently served as creative director at InTouch Weekly.


  • ANA MARIA GUTIERREZ joined US Media Consulting as a client services representative.


  • Real Branding formed an executive committee to address the company's growth. The committee includes founders and managing directors, MARK SILVA and PAT HAGERMAN, along with senior vice president, SUSAN MACDERMID; vice president, executive creative director JASON BUCKY and vice president, project management BILL SANDERS.

  • MARC USA hired CATHERINE CLARK as a management supervisor to work on the Safety-Kleen account. Most recently, Clark worked at GSD&M in Austin on AT&T Yellow Pages.

  • TV Guide Network promoted KRISTIN PEACE to vice president, development, acquisitions and broadband development, up from her previous post as vice president, development.


  • Kiplinger.com named former AOL programming manager CINDY SCHWALB as its online content coordinator.

  • Molecular hired RICHARD SULLIVAN as account director in its New York office.


  • Quantcast named ADAM GERBER as its chief marketing officer. He most recently served as vice president for advertising products and strategy at Brightcove.


  • Starcom USA named GRANT PRENTICE as svp/director of connections research and analytics, charged with leading the agency's research initiatives. Most recently, Prentice served as a principal at St. Andrews Consulting where he designed, conducted and analyzed research methods for clients.


  • LAURIE PETERSEN was named general manager of Minyanville Family Media. She previously served as executive editor at MediaPost.


  • TPN launched a convergence unit, to be led by BOBBI MERKEL.


  • FT.com appointed RICHARD EDGAR as its first head of video. He joins FT.com from Reuters Video where he was editor in charge for Europe, Middle East and Africa.


  • Carton Donofrio Partners hired STEVE HÄSLER as senior account leader; ALLISON HIGGINS as media planner; ROB THORP as interactive producer and GEORGE WOOD as director of interactive production.


  • Lion Television promoted TONY TACKABERRY to CEO of Lion Inc, making this the first time the company has named a CEO in the United States. In Los Angeles, TRACY GREEN expanded her role within Lion's parent company All3 Media, while continuing her daily responsibilities asevp of Lion Inc.'s Los Angeles office. Lastly, KEVIN KAPPOCK was named west coast vice president of Lion Inc.


  • Stand Advertising promoted JENNIFER PRATT to account supervisor, up from account executive. She will now manage the agency's ECMC, Avox, and NCCC accounts.


  • CNET Networks named DAVE MORRIS, a former Time Inc. executive, as senior vice president of network sales.

  • TOM STEIN, president & CEO of Stein Rogan + Partners, was named to the Business Marketing Association of New York City Board of Directors; SUE GUERRERO, vp/managing director, has added director of account services to her title; and TED KOHNEN joins the agency as director, search marketing.

  • MICHAEL COHEN was promoted to vice president/director of strategy and analysis at Digitas.


  • JEFF GIACCHETTI and JON LUMERMAN were promoted to associate media directors, up from media supervisors, at EarthQuake Media.


  • Spin Magazine named DAN O'CONOR as Midwest advertising director. O'Conor returns to a Spin staff position after a six-year tenure with Christopher Schuba & Company, where he managed Spin's Midwest advertising sales.


  • Saatchi & Saatchi LA hired UWE GUTSCHOW as director, interactive strategy. He joins the agency from Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town, where he founded the agency's interactive group AtPlay in a role that crossed the lines between creative and strategy.


  • Goffman Group hired JEN KWIATKOWSKI as account coordinator, TERESA MCALEESE as media buyer and KATHI GILLIN as director, client strategy/service.


  • C.C. CHAPMAN and STEVE COULSON have left crayon to form their own agency called The Advance Guard.


  • Blog Talk Radio named FRANK NEILL as director of advertising.


  • Alloy Media + Marketing named KENT HAEHL as chief executive officer of Channel One Network, including Channel One News. He previously served as executive vice president of In-Store Broadcasting Network.

  • RJ Palmer hired MARC MORSE as senior vice president, national television buying.
