  • CooperKatz & Company named ANNE GREEN as president and chief operating officer. The company also promoted DOROTHY SONNENBURG to senior vice president of finance & operations and hired ROBERTO LEBRON as director, client services.


  • SCOTT DONATON was named publisher of Entertainment Weekly magazine. Donaton was most recently the publisher of Advertising Age, where he worked for nearly two decades. Prior to being named publisher in February, Donaton served as AdAge's associate publisher and editorial director.

  • ANNE A. SIMPKINSON has been named managing editor, online of Guideposts. Simpkinson joins the company from WeightWatchers.com, where she was the Web site's managing editor.

  • The Nielsen Company named GREG FARRAR president of Nielsen Business Media. Farrar was most recently chief operating officer, Nielsen Business Media, and has been leading the division since the unexpected death of CEO ROBERT L. KRAKOFF.


  • About.com named SHERYL A. GOLDSTEIN as senior vice president, sales. Most recently, she was regional sales director for America Online. While there, Goldstein oversaw a sales staff that managed accounts such as Procter & Gamble Company and Verizon Communications.


  • Zephyr Media Group promoted ROGER DELANEY to vice president, media. He was previously vice president, media director.


  • MICK MCCABE was named partner/chief strategy officer at Deutsch NY. He joins the agency from Leo Burnett, Chicago, where he was executive vice president, director of planning. He replaces JEFFREY WOLF, who left the role of partner, director of account planning, Deutsch New York in November 2006.


  • WorldNow hired KEVIN HICKS as vice president, national sales. Most recently, Hicks was the senior vice president of ad sales at Hollywood Media. STEPHEN BLUMBERG was named vice president of marketing. Blumberg was most recently worldwide director of eMarketing at Gucci.


  • TiVo named JEFF STETTIN as vice president of national ad sales and DENNIS DUNPHY as director of Midwest ad sales.


  • Digitas Chicago named DAVID R. MITCHELL executive creative director. He will oversee creative development and execution across all Chicago office clients, including Miller Brewing. He was previously senior vice president, group creative director for the agency's Boston headquarters.

  • BEN GADDIS and JOHN RIDGWAY have joined ipsh! as southwest account manager and manager, agency services, respectively.


  • MEGAN JORDAN joined YouTube/Google as advertising programs manager. She previously served as senior manager for North American Media for Gap Inc.


  • Siegel+Gale named RICHARD PASQUA creative director of its Interactive practice. Pasqua previously led design for Nickelodeon, RedSky Interactive, Xceed Interactive and Doubleday Direct Interactive.


  • Carat named GRANT MCDOUGALL as executive vice president, group account director. He will be responsible for leading several global and domestic relationships across Carat. McDougall joins Carat from Modem Media/Digitas, where he served as managing director of the London office, leading the Global HP business.


  • WC&T hired MARK BASTIN as director of development and media. He most recently was regional director for MLB Creative of Orlando and the US Virgin Islands.


  • Avenue A | Razorfish New York promoted BASEL SALLOUM from technology director to vice president of technology, MARY-LYNNE WILLIAMS from experience lead to experience director and JASON PRYSLAK from senior information architect to experience lead.


  • Orange Element hired GARRET OHM as marketing director, ANDREA CAMPBELL as senior designer and ANDY BONNER as a graphic designer.


  • Demand Media hired JENNIFER WAX as senior vice president of ad sales; NICOLE EARLY as senior account executive and JOSH LEFKOWITZ as director of east coast sales.


  • The Week magazine named JED HARTMAN as publisher. Hartman previously served as sales director for The Fortune/Money group.


  • CNET Networks hired DAVE MORRIS as senior vice president of Network Sales. Most recently Morris was president and publisher of Entertainment Weekly and EW.com.
