  • BOB AMBERG was promoted to national advertising director of National Geographic magazine.

  • Agent 16 named SCOTT STERN as director of marketing. In his new role, Stern will head up the agency's new business acquisition efforts as well as continue to manage accounts including the Atari and NESTEA Chilled businesses.


  • Avenue A | Razorfish Philadelphia named MAIA DUNKEL as a senior account director and RICHARD EDEN as an account director of client engagements.


  • Schafer Condon Carter tapped CARRIE MASS as director of Internet media and search engine marketing. Mass joined the company from Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions where she previously served as search media strategist.


  • JOSY PAUL joined BBDO India as chairman and national creative director.


  • Fry Hammond Barr named VIRGINIA MCGRATH as managing director of its Tampa operations. McGrath most recently served as director of advertising for Pinch-A-Penny.


  • Media Networks named MICHAEL NASIF as director of business development, digital. Nasif will oversee efforts to grow business for MNI Digital, the online and email marketing division of MNI.


  • TERENCE ZAHNER joined Wunderman as senior analyst, working in the Insights and Optimization group on a variety of accounts. PHYLLIS KANE was named vice president, account director on the Citi Cards account.


  • Tennis Channel promoted DAVID SCOTT to executive director, acquisitions and programming and BOB WHYLEY to coordinating producer.


  • Travel Ad Network promoted BOB SACCO from vice president of sales to vice president of marketing, a new position.


  • Hill Holliday tapped JOHN DUKAKIS as senior vice president and director of branded entertainment. In this capacity, Dukakis will manage client marketing initiatives rooted in the entertainment industry. Most recently, Dukakis served for seven years as an executive vice president at Overbrook.


  • ML Rogers, New York named CORY SMITH as senior art director, working on Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Blistex and other accounts. Previously, Smith was senior art director at Hill Holliday, New York.


  • Media Contacts elevated group director of search, ROB GRIFFIN, to group head of its Search, Data & Analytics offering. SHEETHAL RAO was named senior insights analyst to oversee the analytics team in New York. Lastly, MARK EGAN was named global director of new business.


  • CANDACE GRAHAM was promoted to executive vice president, account/digital director at Campbell-Ewald, responsible for leading the Alltel account team and digital staff.


  • Merkle promoted CHRISTIAN WRIGHT to the newly created position of chief technology officer and BARRY SMITH to chief information officer.


  • MARC USA promoted VIVEK SARAN from senior account planner to group account planner and SUZANNE BASISTA from account executive to senior account executive.


  • J3 Universal McCann named AMY PASCAL digital managing director for Johnson & Johnson Healthcare brands. Most recently, Pascal spent three years at R/GA as an account director working on Johnson & Johnson and Subaru.


  • DAVID MORGAN, president of Universal McCann Asia Pacific, was appointed the global network's chief client officer. JEFF CRESSALL, currently Universal McCann's chief executive officer in Australia, will succeed him in the regional role.


  • TargetCast tcm named MICHAEL PARENT as vice president, associate director of National Broadcast, a new position. Parent joins TargetCast tcm from OMD, where he served as associate media director, National Broadcast, managing $280 million in national TV for clients including Visa, Absolut, Ameriquest, PepsiCo and Dial.


  • RJ Palmer hired NKEM KALU as assistant media planner.


  • SARAH HOOKER, NANDITA SAHNI and HANNAH GREEN joined the advertising sales team at LinkedIn.


  • KELLY GATHERS and DONNA GRAZIANI joined McRae as advertising account directors, and MELANIE JONES joined as a media planner/buyer.


  • JOHN ROEGER and KATHY HOFFMANN have joined Dicom Marketing to create Dicom Promotions, Inc. They most recently headed PHD's Broadcast Promotions Group.


  • The Golf Channel named TERRY CORNELISSEN as Midwest director of digital ad sales, Chicago.


  • HEATHER BRESNAHAN was promoted to assistant vice president, online media at Singer Direct.


  • KnowledgeBase Marketing appointed DENNIS KOOKER to president of the company. In addition, ANDY RUTBERG, Wunderman's chief data officer, will expand his responsibilities to serve as KnowledgeBase Marketing's executive vice president of sales and marketing.
