  • ALEXANDER SCHMIDT-VOGEL, the founding manager and current CEO of GroupM's MediaCom Worldwide, was named Global CEO of GroupM Trading, a new position.

  • STEVE CARBONE joined Nurun as president of North America. This is the first time Nurun has appointed a president of North America. Carbone was most recently president of G2 Direct & Digital (formerly Grey Direct).

  • STEVE PEARSON was named senior vice president of engineering at Tremor Media. He joins the company from CBS Interactive, where he served as vice president of advanced technologies.

  • ALEX TAMAYO joined Beyond Interaction as senior partner, group account director. He will serve as the client lead for the Nokia, Canon and Advanced Micro Devices accounts. Most recently, Tamayo was senior vice president, group media director for DraftFCB in New York.

  • ALEX BOMBECK was promoted to president of Euro RSCG Discovery. Bombeck most recently served as president of digital, North America, for Euro RSCG 4D.

  • LinkedIn hired PATISHA ARRINGTON as advertising operations specialist, eastern region. Arrington previously served as advertising operations manager for The Wall Street Journal Online.

  • Leapfrog Online hired MICHAEL LEFF as vice president and general manager of its Telecommunications vertical.
