  • Jennifer Usdan McBride
    J. Walter Thompson New York

    J. Walter Thompson New York hired Jennifer Usdan McBride as director of digital production. She joins the agency from Deutsch New York where she oversaw all digital production on Microsoft and PNC, as well as project work for TNT and Galderma. This marks a return to J. Walter Thompson for McBride, having previously served as an executive producer working on Johnson & Johnson brands. In her new role, McBride will report to Lisa Setten, head of integrated production, J. Walter Thompson New York, and oversee digital production across the agency's New York office. McBride also worked at BBH New York as a senior interactive producer, where she launched the Google Chrome interactive project "Chrome Fastball: A Race Across the Internet" and also worked on Westin, Cadillac and Sprite. "Jennifer is a wonder to work with, an incredible creative thinker who is tireless in her efforts to elevate the work and bring innovative ideas to life," said Setten. "Add to this her knowledge and past experience with our clients, we feel extremely fortunate to be welcoming her back to the J. Walter Thompson family."

  • David Grabert
    GroupM
    GroupM named David Grabert as global director of corporate communications. He will lead strategic external and internal communications to support GroupM's worldwide leadership in media investment, data and technology on behalf of the company's agencies and clients. Based in New York, Grabert will report to Elizabeth McCune, global head of marketing, communications and business development. Grabert joins GroupM from Clear Channel Outdoor, a subsidiary of iHeartMedia, Inc., where he led corporate communications for the company's Americas division. Prior to that, he held senior communications and marketing roles at Cox Communications, Comcast and Canoe Ventures.

    Martin Williams Advertising added five to the Minneapolis-based agency. Dan Erickson was named art director; Tara Henderson joins as account director; and Cameron High as associate creative director. The agency expanded its project management team with the addition of Krista Theis. Lastly, Martin Williams hired Ryan Libby as director of studio services. "To expand the range of support we can provide to our clients, we developed a studio services department, which is charged with ensuring we are able to deliver the highest quality product in the most efficient manner," said Tom Moudry, CEO and chief creative office for Martin Williams.

    Code and Theory
    Code and Theory promoted Dotty Giordano to partner. Giordano, who joined Code and Theory last April as director of client services, will continue to drive the agency's client service group. The promotion follows Giordano's development of client relationships for the agency's New York office, specifically national and global campaigns for Maybelline New York, Burger King and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. Giordano began her career in public relations. Prior to Code and Theory, she served as group manager and was a senior leader in the brand marketing practice at Ketchum. Giordano also held senior posts as at Evins Communications and Ogilvy PR in New York City, representing luxury and consumer brands such as Leica, Maker's Mark, Virgin America, Johnson & Johnson's Baby, Aveeno, and Sunglass Hut.
  • Kim Tice and Adrienne Walpole

    GSD&M hired Kim Tice and Adrienne Walpole as vice president, account directors. Tice will lead Hampton Hotels, part of the Hilton Worldwide brands, which launched its "We Go Together" platform in February. Walpole will lead the agency's Southwest Airlines team, supporting branding efforts for its Fall 2015 brand campaign. Tice joins GSD&M from Grey/New York, where she served as vice president, global account director. While there, she helped launch Kellogg's Pringles' first global effort, which launched in 50 countries. She also worked on several Kraft brands at TBWA\Chiat\Day and IBM at Ogilvy & Mather. Prior to GSD&M, Walpole was an account director at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Los Angeles, where she led efforts on Best Buy and was part of the team that helped launch the Windows Phone worldwide. Before that, she spent eight years at TBWA and stints at Saatchi & Saatchi and Deutsch. Her client experience includes Nissan, Toyota, Netflix and Mars Petcare. "To create great work, we have to first build strong and trust-based relationships with our clients.
