    Carat named Navaneeta Das as international client president for Mondelez International. Based out of Singapore for Asia Pacific, Das will head up the Carat media strategy and planning operations for Mondelez, with responsibilities for the wider Dentsu Aegis Network offering. In the long term she will move into a global role within Carat. Das reports to Sean O'Brien CEO of Carat Asia Pacific. She joins Carat from Johnson & Johnson where she was director of digital analytics and marketing analytics. Prior to that, she worked at Mindshare. "Nav's balanced exposure to digital and traditional media and her knowledge of strategy, data and trading makes her the right fit for us as we continue to redefine the business value we deliver to our clients through media," said O'Brien.     R/GA promoted Andrea Ring to senior vice president, planning, charged with overseeing the agency's planning group. Joining the group is Graham Phillips as managing director of communications planning. Ring is based in New York and reports to Bob Greenberg, CEO, chairman and founder, and Seth Solomons, executive vice president, chief global client services officer, managing director of New York. Ring has worked at R/GA for the past nine years, helping brands such as Nike, Google, and Samsung rethink their businesses and develop relationships with consumers. Previously, she worked as a brand planner with Bigchalk.com, J. Walter Thompson and Digital Pulp Advertising. Phillips worked at BBDO, JWT, BBH, BSSP and Ogilvy and Mather over the course of a 19-year career. He worked on campaigns for brands such as SAP, Kraft, RitzCarlton, SAB Miller, Axe, LG, Microsoft, Nestle, Kimberly Clark and ExxonMobil. "The core tenants of planning are more relevant than ever, but R/GA's marriage of storytelling and systematic thinking gives us a unique perspective to better understand and reach consumers in the connected age," said Ring.     U.S. Interactive Media (USIM) named Brad Johnson as vice president of business development, responsible for establishing long-term partnerships with ad agencies and clients. Prior to USIM, he led sales efforts at Greenwood Hall where he helped create and drive the education division. Prior to that, Johnson led sales efforts at ACP Interactive, which supported a variety of advertising campaigns for Procter & Gamble. "Brad shares our company views and knows what it takes to drive new growth," said Eran Goren, president of U.S. Interactive Media. "His experience uniquely positions him to lead our business development efforts, and he is a great addition to our senior leadership team."

The move reunites Florea with agency president Matt Dowshen; both previously worked together at JWT on the global De Beers business. Most recently, Florea was a brand strategy consultant. Prior to that, he spent three years as head of brand strategy at Droga5 NYC and five years prior as group strategy director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Florea has delivered brand and business strategies for companies such as Activision Blizzard, Dun & Bradstreet, Kraft, Intel, UNICEF, The Coca-Cola Company, Chevrolet, PepsiCo-Frito Lay, Hyundai, Saturn and Netflix. "Ted is one of the best minds in the business and is responsible for some of the most thoughtful and compelling work I've seen in recent years," said Dowshen.
