  • Ciaran Rogers
    Cutwater
    Cutwater hired Ciaran Rogers as senior digital strategist, responsible for enhancing digital strategy and analytics across all of the San Francisco-based agency's accounts and integrated teams. Most recently, Rogers was a planning director at KBS where he lead work for investment company, Vanguard. He also held positions at Hanft Raboy and Partners, Night Agency, Euro RSCG and freelanced for DDB and Razorfish. Rogers began his advertising career at McCann Erickson, working on the global management of MasterCard's "Priceless" campaign. Following a few years in account management, Rogers made the jump to planning where he continued working on MasterCard as well as contributing to planning for Wendy's and Major League Baseball. "As we expand our client base and the type of work we do, people like Ciaran will help drive our ideas and business," said Christian Hughes, president and principal of Cutwater. "He has a strong pedigree and will strengthen our left brain as we navigate the complex a more data centric media landscape."

    Y&R New York added three employees to its creative department. Christian Carl was named global executive creative director, overseeing Dell; Hamish McArthur joins as head of design; and Greg Lotus as executive director of integrated production. All report to Leslie Sims, chief creative officer of Y&R New York. Carl will work mainly on Dell and contribute to business development efforts for the agency. He joins the agency from Havas New York, where, as executive creative director, he led creative on Dos Equis and other clients, and helped to secure new business. McArthur will be responsible for setting the design vision for the agency, overseeing a team of designers and working across agency's clients like Campbell's, Dell, Hillshire Brands, Pepperidge Farms, the U.S. Navy and Xerox. Lotus will oversee production across all clients at Y&R New York. Lotus has producing award-winning work for global brands, including MasterCard, Sony, Nikon, Verizon and General Mills. For nearly 20 years prior to joining Y&R, he held successive roles at McCann New York, working from assistant producer to senior vice president/executive producer.

    Robert Fradette was promoted to senior vice president, media director at Ron Foth Advertising, in Columbus, Ohio. Fradette has worked at the agency for more than 20 years, most recently as vice president, associate media director. Working with Larry Row as co-director of the department, he will continue to oversee day-to-day operations and long term planning, and help expand Foth's digital and social media capabilities. Agency clients include Wendy's, MGM Resorts International, Safelite AutoGlass, Santa Monica Travel & Tourism and The Columbus Zoo.

    Leo Burnett Chicago named Catherine Davis as executive vice president and account director, charged with overseeing the agency's McDonald's account in the U.S. She will lead the brand's marketing programming and report to Rich Stoddart, CEO of Leo Burnett North America. Most recently, Davis was president of Vizeum U.S. since its launch in 2011. Davis previously worked at Leo Burnett for 10 years, rising from account executive to vice president, account director. During her first stint at the agency, she oversaw brands such as Allstate and Green Giant. She then took on senior level marketing roles at Morgan Stanley, HARRISdirect and Diageo, each based in New York. She led her own consultancy before joining Vizeum U.S. "Cathy's deep and diverse experience - digital, creative and media - is a rare marketing trifecta," said Stoddart. "Having spent time on the client side, she completely understands the challenges modern brands face today."

Mulhern will head the New York and Reston offices where he will be responsible for driving strategy and creative.
