    Camp + King San Francisco hired Kristin Johansen as social media manager, a new position, and Michael Ng as senior copywriter. Johansen began her career working in analytics at WCG, where her clients included P&G and Verizon. She moved on to FleishmanHillard, served as the lead research analyst for L'Oreal and also spent time freelancing in Brooklyn and the Caribbean. Ng moved to New York after graduating from VCU Brandcenter and began freelancing at Wieden + Kennedy and Johannes Leonardo. Eventually, he settled in at The&Partnership (formerly CHI & Partners), where he worked on TELUS, Direct Energy, WSJ and Bulleit.

Prior to that, she was at St Luke's, Brothers & Sisters and McCann London as a new business consultant. Yasko joins the agency from Droga5, where he was global business director and a member of the executive management team. While there, he repositioned the Prudential brand with the "Day One" and "Challenge Lab" campaigns, which earned numerous awards, including Gold and Titanium Integrated Lions at Cannes and TED's Ads Worth Spreading prize for innovation, ingenuity, and intelligence in advertising. He also led accounts and new business wins for Google, Motorola and Chase. Prior to Droga5, Yasko served as senior vice president and group account director at Publicis One Team, where he worked on Citigroup's US and global advertising initiatives. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Ogilvy & Mather New York as partner and worldwide management supervisor, leading brands like IBM, BP, Gillette Globa, and J&J. "Bryan completes our management team built for what we believe the industry will need over the next decade," said Jacobs. "I have always admired the pure creativity of Johannes Leonardo's work," added Yasko.     MDC Partners hired Stephanie Nerlich as chief marketing officer, managing director, in Canada, beginning in April. She will oversee marketing and business development across all MDC Partners agencies in Canada and report to Bob Kantor, chief marketing and business development officer, and Andre Coste, executive vice president and chief operating officer. Nerlich joins the agency from Grey Canada, where she was president and CEO for five years. While there, she led a national network of agencies, expanded Grey Canada's digital capabilities and drove new business growth, winning Post Foods USA, HSBC North America, Procter & Gamble, Brown Forman, ATCO and Volvo. Prior to Grey, Nerlich was president and CEO of Lowe Roche in Toronto, where she oversaw all operational and financial duties. She led a series of brands including Audi, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle Purina and Unilever. "Stephanie has achieved the highest levels of success in our industry by taking the helm of an esteemed group of agencies and accelerating them to win an enviable list of clients while creating award-winning work," said Kantor.

While there, Rees helped oversee the merger of DDB and adam&eve, and was the only member of the original DDB leadership to earn a place on the new management team following said merger. Alongside his group managerial duties, Rees ran the agency's Diageo and Volkswagen accounts. "Xav is a true powerhouse who can energize and propel an agency forward," said Hirst.
