  • Tim Polder, Chiara Martini, Neil Simpson, Amanda Moreno and Claudia Steer
    DDB New York
    DDB Worldwide added five strategists to the New York office: Tim Polder as director of content strategy; Chiara Martini as director of social strategy; Neil Simpson as associate planning director; Amanda Moreno as social strategist; and Claudia Steer as group strategy director. They all report to Stuart Hazlewood, chief strategy officer of DDB New York. Originally from the Netherlands, Polder joins DDB New York from London and Amsterdam where he served as a digital strategist at Saatchi & Saatchi, Cheil Worldwide and at his own consultancy firm Badabiem Badaboem. For the last five years, Martini was responsible for digital & media Strategy at Heineken Brazil, working with all brands across the portfolio like Heineken, Sol and Desperados. At DDB, she will be responsible for social and content strategy for Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Huawei, Cotton, Qualcomm and State Farm. Simpson previously served as a brand strategist at DDB in London, where he worked for pharmaceutical brands including Excedrin and OneTouch. In his new position, Simpson will work across several agency accounts including multiple Unilever brands: OneTouch, Stat Strip and Topps. Moreno joins the agency from R/GA, where she focused on digital and social-first initiatives for L'Oreal Paris. In her new role, Moreno will be working closely with the strategy team to manage campaigns and develop social content for Neutrogena, Aveeno and Clean & Clear. Steer will oversee strategy for the Unilever and Hasbro accounts. She joins the agency from Leo Burnett Chicago, where she led the strategy for McDonald's US brand initiatives. She also worked on Sprint and the agency's pro-bono client, the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

    Shannon McGlothin joined BBH New York as executive creative director, responsible for running the Global Vaseline business. Over the course of a 15-year career, McGlothin has worked with clients such as Samsung, Coca-Cola, Nike, The GAP, LVMH, PlayStation and Electronic Arts. He previously worked at Omelet, Leo Burnett, Deutsch, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Wieden + Kennedy. "Shannon and I crossed paths at Wieden & Kennedy in Portland and ever since I've been a huge fan of his work and Shannon as a person," said Ari Weiss, chief creative officer of BBH New York. "His incredible eye is only surpassed by his big thinking. Great creatives do great work wherever they go and Shannon has done just that. We're extremely excited to have Shannon join our team and look forward to the amazing things to come."
  • Kingsley Taylor and Jim Napolitano

    Organic hired Kingsley Taylor as senior vice president, managing director of Organic San Francisco, and promoted Jim Napolitano to senior vice president, managing director of the Detroit office. Taylor will be charged with leading the agency's Wells Fargo account and overseeing account leadership and business development in the San Francisco office. He joins Organic from MRY in San Francisco, where served as managing director. Prior to that, he was director of new business at David&Goliath, and senior partner, global business director at Ogilvy & Mather in Los Angeles. Before his promotion, Napolitano served as vice president of client services at Organic. He has worked at Organic for the past 13 years. "As our San Francisco and Detroit offices continue to grow, these new roles strengthen our executive leadership team and underscore the agency's momentum," said David Shulman, CEO of Organic. "I'm confident in Jim and Kingsley's ability to lead our teams and drive impact for our clients."
  • Anaka Kobzev

    TBWA Worldwide hired Anaka Kobzev as global head of communications. Beginning April 18, Kobzev will be based in New York global headquarters and will report to Troy Ruhanen, CEO of TBWA Worldwide. She joins TBWA from J. Walter Thompson, where she served as director of communications for North America, responsible for creating and implementing communications strategy and messaging, as well as spearheading media relations, executive visibility and partnerships for the agency's U.S. and Canadian outposts. Prior to JWT, Kobzev held a dual role with Interpublic Group as communications director for McCann Erickson and twofifteenmccann offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Detroit, while also providing support for IPG's west coast units. While there, she also helped launch Interpublic's Emerging Media Lab. She began her career in corporate communications at IPG's Initiative. "I'm thrilled that Anaka is joining TBWA and taking a seat on our global executive team," said Ruhanen. "She is extremely well-versed in the art and architecture of agency communications, and has a keen understanding of our need to market ourselves, our work and our points of view more aggressively to standout in the global marketplace."

    space150 promoted Marc Jensen from chief technology officer and managing partner, to chief innovation officer and managing partner. In addition, Brock Davis was elevated from executive creative director to chief creative officer. Jensen, who was worked at the agency for 15 years, was most recently leading the agency's experience and engineering teams, working with clients such as 3M, American Express, Buffalo Wild Wings and Nike. In his new role, Jensen will focus on identifying and exploring technology and trends shaping the advertising industry. He will also increase his time working on the agency's spaceLab program. Davis has worked in the advertising and design industry for more than 20 years, creating work for Apple, Target, Jack Links, Subaru, Harley-Davidson and Porsche, among others. "Brock and Marc have always been able to tap into creativity and science that goes above and beyond the expected -- both for our industry and for our clients," said Billy Jurewicz, founder and CEO of space150.
