  • Gustavo Sarkis
    David&Goliath
    David&Goliath named Gustavo Sarkis as executive creative director to lead the agency's Kia business. Sarkis will be responsible for overseeing all creative work on the brand, for which the agency has been agency of record for since its inception in 1999. He will report to D&G's managing partner and chief creative officer, Colin Jeffery.

    Sarkis joins the agency from Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he was executive creative director, overseeing all creative coming out of the agency's Miami office. He spent the last two years working across a variety of clients, including Letgo, Vonage and Santa Margherita Prior to CP+B Miami, Sarkis was a creative director at TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles, working on Gatorade and Adidas.

  • Steve Knapp
    Colle+McVoy
    Colle+McVoy named Steve Knapp as executive director of media, a new position and part of the agency's expansion of its media group. Knapp will lead media intelligence and engagement activities across paid/owned/earned channels encompassing strategy, investment and performance. Most recently, Knapp was a media consultant primarily for Barrie D'Rozario DiLorenzo, where he led connection planning and created open-source buying partnerships for multiple clients, including the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, Knapp was senior partner, director of brand activation at Carmichael Lynch. He has also held vice president positions at Olson and Campbell Mithun.

  • Kim Nguyen
    Preacher
    Austin-based creative agency, Preacher hired Kim Nguyen as associate creative director. She most recently served as associate creative director for BBDO New York. Nguyen held copywriter roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and TBWA/Chiat/Day, then worked at Grey New York where she became an associate creative director before moving to BBDO.
  • Rachel Barek
    AKQA
    AKQA promoted Rachel Barek to general manager of its Washington, D.C. office, up from director of client services. She is responsible for helping clients with ideas, products and services as well as continuing to develop the culture and client relationships. Barek will continue to report to Erik Rogstad, managing director, AKQA. She has worked at AKQA for the past six years.

  • Nate Naylor and Dominic Poynter
    Barton F. Graf
    Barton F. Graf hired Nate Naylor as group creative director and Dominic Poynter as head of communications strategy.

    Naylor will work on a number of new agency clients and advise on creative direction across the agency's client list. Naylor spent the past five years freelancing as an art and creative director and has developed campaigns for Cadillac, Comedy Central, Nike and HP. He has worked for Wieden + Kennedy, Modernista!, Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners.

    Poynter will report to Laura Janness, chief strategy officer and will be responsible for advising all clients on driving ideas across channels. Poynter joins the agency from Anomaly, where he was head of communications planning. While there, he worked on campaigns for the Super Bowl and World Cup for Budweiser, plus work for Diageo and Duracell.

  • Regan Swegle and Landon Nguyen
    Team One
    Team One added two executives to its accounts division: Regan Swegle as group account director and Landon Nguyen as account director. Swegle joins Team One from iCrossing, where she served as account director. Financial services will be a priority for her at Team One. Landon Nguyen is returning to his Saatchi & Saatchi roots—of which Team One is a division—to lead the Indian Motorcycle account and new business initiatives.
  • Stan Fiorito
    Space150
    Space150 has named Stan Fiorito executive vice president, client and brand development to help lead and align the agency's account teams across its network of offices, as well as help to develop new partnerships and business with new and existing clients. In this newly created role, he will be based in Burbank and report to space150 founder and CEO Billy Jurewicz.

    Most recently, Fiorito was managing director at TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles, where he worked on accounts including Buffalo Wild Wings, Activision, Sony PlayStation and Southwest Airlines. Before that, he served as group account director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York, leading brand relationships within Unilever and Diageo. Earlier in his career, he worked at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Carmichael Lynch, on brands that included Budweiser, Schwinn, Motorola and Sam Adams.

  • Kathleen Callahan and Cassie Conklin
    Young & Laramore
    Young & Laramore hired Kathleen Callahan as digital strategist and Cassie Conklin as social media manager. Callahan will identify opportunities for the Brizo, ELEVATE Design Collective and Farm Bureau Insurance accounts to use digital technology to enhance their overall marketing mix. She will report directly to creative directors, Bryan Judkins and Trevor Williams. Prior to Young & Laramore, Callahan was a communications marketing manager at Oracle.

    Conklin is tasked with leading the social media teams on developing brand awareness and an online reputation through social content for ELEVATE Design Collective, Pet Supplies Plus and Farm Bureau Insurance. She will report to Callahan. Most recently, Conklin was an in-house social media strategist at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

    Argonaut hired Topher Lorette as head of integrated production. He joins the agency from Droga5 where he served as executive producer/group integrated production manager and ran a team of broadcast, digital, social and print producers on accounts such as JPMorgan Chase, Pizza Hut, Clearasil and Airwick. Prior to Droga5, Lorette spent more than 15 years working at Deutsch LA, AKQA, R/GA, Ogilvy and Grey, on brands like Canon, DIRECTV, Smirnoff, Coca-Cola and Target.
