  • LP Tremblay and Kate McCagg
    Havas New York
    LP Tremblay and Kate McCagg were named executive creative directors at Havas New York. Both report to Toygar Bazarkaya, chief creative officer of the Americas at Havas.

    McCagg joined Havas New York in 2014. Prior to joining Havas, McCagg was creative director at Razorfish in San Francisco and Portland, creating online, digital and social work for Microsoft, American Express, Nike, Levi's, Intel, Breville Appliances and Shutterfly.

    Tremblay began his career in the interactive department of Sid Lee in Montreal, moving on to AKQA in San Francisco, Wieden+Kennedy London, DDB Toronto and BBDO New York. Over the years, he has worked on campaigns for clients like Diageo, Visa, Nokia, Unilever, Bose, Coca-Cola, Red Bull and Johnson & Johnson.

  • Asif Khan, Tim Gunatilaka and Ben Krantz
    Attention
    Attention, KBS' social media agency, hired Asif Khan as vice president of strategy & analytics; Tim Gunatilaka as director of content; and Ben Krantz as creative director.

    Kahn will be responsible for educating the agency on how data and creativity are inextricably linked. Prior to Attention, Khan led the strategy department at VICE Media's Carrot Creative where he helped the agency secure several pieces of new business, including Chipotle and several Unilever brands.

    Gunatilaka previously served as associate director of content and social strategy at KBS, where he helped launch the digital magazine IQ by Intel, among other branded content platforms. Before that, he was head of content innovation at OMD. Earlier in his career, Gunatilaka was a journalist for Entertainment Weekly, SPIN and Paper Magazine.

    Krantz previously served as associate creative director at Tribal Worldwide and Publicis, working with clients like Mercedes-Benz, American Express, Citibank and P&G.

  • Ethan Decker
    CP+B Boulder
    CP+B Boulder named Ethan Decker as group strategy director, tasked with overseeing strategy on the Domino's account, among others.

    Decker most recently served as vice president of insight & strategy at The Integer Group, where he led a team that created award-winning work for Procter & Gamble, Kellogg, PepsiCo and MillerCoors. Prior to that, he was planning director at 72andSunny, where he led strategy for Discovery, Nike, Quiksilver and Roxy. Decker began his career as an ecologist, earning a PhD in urban ecology and human evolution from the University of New Mexico.

  • Jason Kim, Gustaf Jonsson, Rick Morrison and Evan Burton
    Camp + King
    Camp + King hired Jason Kim as art director, Gustaf Jonsson as senior art director, Rick Morrison as senior copywriter and Evan Burton as copywriter.

    Kim began his career at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA and on brands such as Miller Lite, Nissan, Airbnb, Twitter and Best Friends Animal Society.

    Jonsson has worked at R/GA, DDB, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Argonaut, on brands such as Anheuser-Busch, Cricket Wireless and BMW.

    Morrison started out writing at McKinney for brands like Nationwide, Samsung, Sherwin-Williams and Gold's Gym. He also ghostwrote for the Travelocity Roaming Gnome's social media accounts.

    Lastly, Burton worked for Phil & Co, DeVito/Verdi and VaynerMedia for brands such as Mountain Dew, Starbucks, Tough Mudder and L'Oreal Paris.

  • Ricky Vior, Rodrigo Butori and Ana Bermudez
    The Community
    The Community, part of SapientNitro, promoted Ricky Vior and Rodrigo Butori to vice president, executive creative directors. Vior and Butori will continue to oversee the day-to-day creative work for agency clients such as Verizon, Constellation Brands, Converse, The Kroger Company and BMW. They will continue to report to Joaquin Molla, co-founder & chief creative officer.

    In addition, Ana Bermudez, currently group account director, was promoted to vice president, group account director. Bermudez will continue to lead the agency's largest accounts, Verizon and Kroger, and will report to Luis Montero, president.

    Vior joined the agency in 2000. He began his career at Vegas Olmos Ponce/Lowe as a senior art director and at BBDO as a junior art director.

    A native of Brazil, Butori joined The Community in 2009. Before that, Butori held creative roles in both the U.S. and Brazil at David&Goliath, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Lowe Lintas Brazil and Young & Rubicam Brazil.

    Bermudez joined the agency in 2015. Most recently, she was a group account director at Alma DDB where she was responsible for developing and driving strategic plans for brands like McDonald's, Diageo, and McCormick. Bermudez also held account roles at SapientNitro and Crispin Porter + Bogusky working on Vitaminwater, MinuteMaid, Breakfast Biscuits, Old Navy and Burger King, both in the U.S. and in Spain.

    Discovery Networks International promoted Michael Lang to president, international development, digital and Discovery Nordics, continuing to report to Jean-Briac Perrette, president and CEO, Discovery Networks International. 

     

    In his expanded role, Lang is responsible for leading the overall business of the Nordic region consisting of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.  These markets are some of the most developed TV markets globally and represent one of Discovery's largest channel portfolios outside the U.S.
  • Ellen Kroner, Georgia Juvelis and Jim Maiella
    AMC Networks
    AMC Networks announced that Ellen Kroner, long-time executive vice president and chief communications officer for the company, will retire at the end of the year. She will be succeeded by Georgia Juvelis and Jim Maiella, who will serve as senior vice presidents and co-heads of corporate communications in 2017. The pair will report to Josh Sapan, president and CEO of AMC Networks.

    Turner's TBS & TNT have created a new business strategy unit dedicated to accelerating the networks' marketplace transformation under Kevin Reilly, president of TBS & TNT and chief creative officer for Turner Entertainment. To lead this new team, Reilly has tapped David Beck and Jesse Redniss as chief strategy and ventures officer and chief innovation officer, respectively, reporting to Reilly.
