Cathy Hetzel is a 29-year cable industry veteran with full P&L responsibilities for Rentrak’s Advanced Media and Information division which provides media measurement and analytic services across film, television, cable, mobile and advertising industries. Ms. Hetzel’s influence as an industry torchbearer for the creation and standardization of enhanced measurement capabilities can be felt across cable and programming sectors and also extends into advertising and broadcast TV. Ms. Hetzel is a consensus builder and collaborator to develop new enhanced media measurement tools such as Rentrak’s linear national and local television measurement system, TV Essentials and StationView Essentials, which meets the industry’s growing expectations for greater accountability. In 2010, Ms. Hetzel was named one of Multichannel News’ “Wonder Women of Cable” and is a frequent expert speaker at media industry events including investment conferences as well as cable, telecommunications and advertising events hosted by CTAM, Digital Hollywood, NAMIC, NATPE, Telco TV and others. She is a participating member of Cable Television Administrative and Marketing Society, Women in Cable and Telecommunications, and the National Cable Television Center and Museum.
