Starcom Wins GM

General Motors Corp. has awarded media planning responsibilities for its estimated $2.6 billion account to the Starcom MediaVest Group. The Bcom3 unit will set up a dedicated operation to service the account, tentatively titled GM Planworks. The unit will be responsible for media planning activities for all of GM's divisions except Saturn and Saab.
