A.H. Belo Corp., which publishes
The Dallas Morning News and
The Providence Journal, is laying off another 500 people and cutting expenses by $50 million before the end of the first
quarter, reports
E&P. That brings the total of cuts to more than one-sixth of the 2,950-person workforce. The company said, however, that it will not stop publishing or home delivery on certain
days.
